Date Pudding

 
 
 
This is one of my Mom's recipes and one I've always loved! It was a Thanksgiving stand-by!
 
2   Eggs  
1 cup    Sugar  
1 Tbsp    Flour  
1 tsp    Baking Powder  
1 cup    Walnuts, chopped  
1 pkg    Dates (my guess would be 8 to 10 ounces) , Cut in small pieces  
1 tsp    Vanilla  
 
1 Beat eggs slightly and add the sugar gradually.
2 Add the flour and baking powder, stirring well to blend.
3 Add the chopped nuts, dates and vanilla.
4 Bake in well-greased loaf pan set in about inch of water.
5 Serve with whipped cream.
