Dilly Bread

This is another "goodie" from Glenna Tritt! Anything with dill in it is tops with me!
1 package    Dry yeast  
¼ cup    Warm water  
1 cup    Cottage cheese, warmed  
2 tbs    Sugar  
1 tbs    Instant onions  
1 tbs    Butter  
2 tbs    Dill weed  
1 tsp    Salt  
1   Unbeaten egg  
2¼-2½ cups    Flour  
¼ tsp    Soda  
1 Dissolve yeast in the warm water.
2 Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, soda, egg and yeast.
3 Add flour to make a soft dough.
4 Cover, let rise until doubled.
5 Stir down. Turn into grease 8" or 9" casserole. Let rise 30 to 40 minutes, until doubled.
6 Bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes.
7 Brush top with butter and sprinkle with salt.
