Easy Valentine Red Velvet Cupcakes

 
 
 
1 pkg    German Chocolate cake mix with pudding (18.25 oz)  
1 cup    Sour Cream  
1/2 cup    Water  
1/4 cup    Vegetable Oil  
3 large    Eggs  
1 bottle    Red food coloring (1 oz)  
1 tsp    Vanilla Extract  
 
1 Preheat oven to 350°.
2 Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners.
3 Mix cake mix, sour cream, water, oil, eggs, food coloring and vanilla in a large mixing bowl per directions.
4 Spoon batter into the lined muffin cups till 2/3 full. Bake until cupcakes spring back when lightly pressed with your finger, 20-25 minutes.
5 Frost with favorite frosting (d'oh'!).
