Heavenly Hash

I usually just add the listed ingredients - all to taste. The brown sugar adds some sweetness to the dish but be careful to not overdo the amount..
1 pound    Ground beef  
1½ cups    Shell pasta  
½   Onion, diced  
1   Green bell pepper, diced  
1-2 cloves    Garlic  
1 can (8 oz)    Stewed tomatoes  
1 can (6 oz)    Corn  
1 sm can    Mushrooms (stems and pieces)  
2 Tbs    Brown sugar  
1 Tbs    Italian seasoning  
1 tsp    Oregano  
  Salt and pepper to taste.  
1 Cook pasta according to package directions.
2 In a medium skillet, cook bell pepper and onion until soft.
3 Add ground beef and cook until done. Drain excess fat.
4 Add garlic, stewed tomatoes, mushrooms, brown sugar, Italian seasoning and Oregano and simmer 15 - 20 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
5 Add corn and cooked pasta, simmer additional 5 minutes and serve.
 Cooking Tips
We typically top with shredded cheddar cheese for extra yumminess.
