Renee's Ramen Salad

This is one of our favorites! It's also good the next day because it doesn't wilt!
1 bag    Cole slaw mix
1 pkg    Ramen noodles from "Oriental" flavored package, broken apart
½ cup    Raisins (or to taste)
¼ cup    Sunflower seeds (or to taste)
4-5   Greens onions, chopped (or to taste)
¾ cup    Vegetable oil
1/8 cup    Vinegar
¼ cup    Water
  Seasoning packet from oriental Ramen
1-2 Tbs    Sesame oil (or to taste)
Dash    Soy sauce
1 Mix ingredients for the dressing and let stand for a couple hours, if possible.
2 When the dressing is ready, wrap the uncooked Ramen noodles (in the package) in a dish towel and pound with an ice mallet or the bottom of a glass. If there are any clumps after that, crush them with your hands.
3 Put the noodles, cabbage and other ingredients into a salad bowl. Toss with dressing.
 Cooking Tips
Other things can be added according to your taste, like water chestnuts, shrimp, chicken, cheese, etc.
