Rice Pudding

 
 
 
Recipe came from Rae's mom, Dora.
 
1/3 cup    Butter  
1/3 cup    Sugar  
5-6   Eggs  
1 tsp    Vanilla  
½ cup    Rice  
1 quart    Milk  
¼ tsp    Cinnamon  
 
1 Cook rice in milk with salt added for 20-25 minutes, stirring often. Cool.
2 Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, vanilla and cinnamon.
3 Add cooled rice.
4 Fold in beaten egg whites.
5 Pour into greased 10x6 baking dish and place in pan of hot water in oven.
6 Bake 40 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.
