Scotch Shortbread

 
 
 
1 cup    All purpose Flour  
1/2 cup    Sifted Powdered Sugar  
1 stick    Butter or Margarine  
 
1 Knead ingredients into consistency of putty. Press out with fork (or pat with hands) to about 1" thick.
2 Prick dough with fork. Cut small, thick cookies.
3 Dip in granulated sugar and bake at 325° for approximately 20 minutes.
